Orient Silver-Lead-Zinc-Indium Deposit
Overview
- Orient is largest known silver-lead-zinc-indium deposit in Australia and is located nr. Herberton in Far North QLD
- Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate of 62.5 Mt @ 81.5 g/t Ag Eq. (30 g/t Ag Eq. cut-off grade) with a higher grade core of 34.2 Mt @ 110.4 g/t Ag Eq. (60 g/t Ag Eq. cut-off grade) combined for Orient East and West deposits.
- Updated Exploration Target of 35.9 – 43.3 Mt @ 64 – 78 g/t Ag Eq. (30 g/t Ag Eq. cut-off grade) with higher grade core of 15.4 – 18.8 Mt @ 95 – 117 g/t Ag Eq. (60 g/t Ag Eq. cut-off grade).
Iltani Exploration Activities
Since June 2023, Iltani has completed the following at Orient:
- Completed 132 RC drill holes (26,741m) & 5 diamond drill holes (1,731.2m) across project
- Defined maiden JORC Resource estimate for Orient East and West
- Updated Exploration Target
- Completed 520 line kilometre airborne VTEM survey.

Orient System
- Orient is an extensive precious metal-rich epithermal system with a likely intrusion (porphyry) at depth and has strong similarities to the large scale Bolivian Ag-Zn-Pb-In-Sn systems. Orient sits within the Boonmoo Sag caldera complex and is hosted by a sequence of rhyolites
- Multiple high-grade zinc-lead-silver-indium veins and stockworks outcrop over at least a 6 km2area, with zoned hydrothermal alteration (phyllic, argillic & propylitic) surrounding the mineralisation.
- To date, Iltani’s drilling has focused on Orient West and East, where Iltani has delivered JORC Mineral Resource Estimates and updated Exploration Targets
- Significant potential to increase tonnage and grade at Orient – Orient West and East remain open (depth and strike)
- Multiple other areas (Deadman Creek, Orient North and South) with known outcropping mineralisation, plus the undercover zone (between Orient West and East) remain to be tested.

Historical Orient Metallurgical Test Work
Historical metallurgical test work has confirmed that is viable for Orient to produce two separate high quality concentrates, a zinc-indium-silver concentrate grading 47-48% Zn, 2,000 g/t In and 200 g/t Ag and a lead-silver concentrate grading approximately 48% Pb and 2,250 g/t Ag.
Iltani has made preliminary enquiries with potential offtake partners/concentrate traders, and these have confirmed that the zinc-indium-silver and lead-silver concentrates produced by Orient would be commercially highly attractive to multiple parties.
